Daily Update 2: Welcome to Singapore!

Dear Students,

Welcome to Singapore! We hope your journeys went smoothly and you enjoyed Sunday's activities.

As promised, here is your second instalment of the daily update posts - please read the below information carefully:

Monday- Important Times and Locations

• 08:00 Breakfast will be served in Food Exchange dining room (second floor of the hotel). Please come down ready for the day so you can head straight to your lecture room.
• 09:00 Logistical updates and briefing: Please meet in the Novotel Polaris conference room on level 1. You can take the stairs down one level from the food exchange or use the lifts. We will discuss the following points:
  • ID required daily
  • Imperial representation
  • Buddy system with room mate
• 09:30 Lecture part 1 - Please ensure you collect your name plate so we can take attendance for each lecture on arrival. We will collect these at the end of each session.
• 10:30 Coffee break
• 10:45 Lecture part 2
• 12:00 Buffet Lunch at the hotel: We will then have lunch served outside the lecture room. You can go to your room to change if needed but please ensure you are downstairs in the lobby and ready to depart for meetings.
• 13:30 Depart for company visits:  We will split and have one bus travel to UOB and the other to First Abu Dhabi Bank
• 15:30: Depart for next visit to Societe Generale.
• 18:00 Depart for reception dinner
• 18:30 Reception Dinner: we will be departing for our dinner at Empress Restaurant. After dinner we will depart back to the hotel together. 

Reminders

• Please be fully ready for the day and to leave when you come down to breakfast. You should not need to back up to your rooms after breakfast
• The bus will depart at the advertised time. If you miss the bus, you will need to make your own way to the relevant venue. Please note attendance will be monitored on the Bus (so if you are not on the bus, your attendance will not be recorded)
• We recommend you bring a form of identification with you to each of the company visits
• Please wear suitable clothing for the company visits keeping in mind we will need to walk so you may want to wear comfortable footwear.
