Daily Update 2: Welcome to Singapore!

Dear Students,

Welcome to Singapore! We hope your journeys went smoothly and you enjoyed Sunday's activities.

As promised, here is your second instalment of the daily update posts - please read the below information carefully:

Monday 27 March- Important Times and Locations

• Breakfast will be served in the Winestone Restaurant (first floor of the hotel, outside the lobby). 
• 09:00 Changi Airport Visit: Please meet in the hotel lobby at 08:45 for 09:00 departure for our visit to Changi Airport.  Any students who miss the bus will need to make their own arrangements for travel. During the visit, we will split the group into 2 and rotate the 2 groups between Changi Airport, Canopy Park and the Jewel
• Note: Please bring a copy of your ID with you- this can be a driving license, Imperial ID etc. We also recommend keeping a photo of your ID on your phone.
• 12:00 Lunch: We will then have some time for lunch at the food court in basement level 2 of the Jewel. You will be given a 25 SGD voucher to buy lunch. 
• 12:45 Meet at meeting point - main entrance of Changi Experience Studio (Level 4)
• 13:00 Depart for next visit:  We will then depart for One Raffles Quay 1 Raffles Quay, Singapore 048583 for the Logistics briefing and an academic session with Prof. Colin Love - Introduction to the Singapore Ecosystem
• 14:30: After this session, the group will split up into 2- Group A will go to Continental and Group B will go to ACE. Your allocation for these visits will depend on what you have signed up for on IB Connect (see IB Connect events below). Please note, the sign up for Continental has now closed and it will not be possible to switch to this visit as the company is very strict with the list of attendees. 
• 17:00 Depart back to hotel for some free time
• 19:00 Reception Dinner: we will be meeting in the hotel lobby for 19:00 sharp to depart for our dinner at Empress Restaurant (1 Empress Pl, #01-03 Asian Civilisations Museum, Singapore 179555). After dinner we will depart back to the hotel together.

Reminders

• Please be fully ready for the day and to leave when you come down to breakfast. You should not be going back up to your rooms after breakfast
• The bus will depart at the advertised time. If you miss the bus, you will need to make your own way to the relevant venue. Please note attendance will be monitored on the Bus (so if you are not on the bus, your attendance will not be recorded)
