Daily Update 7: Safe Travels!

Dear Students,

We really do hope you have had a good week in Singapore on this Global Immersion trip - we (the staff) had a great week with you! Tomorrow is our last day and will be a bit different to the rest of the week, so please read the below carefully:

Students departing today - 31 March - p​​​lease note: the electronic immigration system at Changi Airport is down so waiting times may be longer. We recommend getting to the airport 4 hours before your flight to avoid delays.

Saturday 1 April - Important Updates

• A reminder that check out is anytime before 12pm (midday), please factor in your flight departure leaving sufficient time.
• If you have any outstanding payments with the hotel please settle your bill with the Mecure as soon as possible and ideally before this evenings event at Ola Beach club - this will mostly apply to students who opted to have their own room or for extra nights
• We will be providing transfers back to Changi Airport for students departing on 31 March or 1 April. If you haven't already, please ensure that you have completed signing up your Grab for Business account. Once your account is set up, you can use Grab to book a taxi to the airport. This will be for students departing on 31 March or 1 April only
• I have pinned the PDF guidance on Grab to the newsfeed page on IBconnect. Please check this is setup today and ask our team if you have any questions on how to do so.

MSc and MBA Admit Day – Saturday 1 April 2023 – Raffles Hotel
Ollie and colleagues from the Recruitment Team are hosting an admit day for MSc and MBA offer holders starting programmes in September 2023 at the Raffles Hotel. This is an opportunity for them to get a taste of life at the Business School with a taster lecture from Colin, a Careers Session, a Programme Team Welcome, and Student & Alumni Q&A, followed by networking drinks and canapes from 17:00-21:30.

Lastly... this will be our final update, but we just want to wish you all safe flights and smooth onwards journeys back to the UK or where ever your final destination may be. We had a great week with you and really hope you did too!
