The Power of Global Networks Careers Event


This event is built into the itineraries for students joining the global modules to Singapore at the end of March.  It is a fantastic opportunity to have one to one converstaions with employers and alumni in the APAC region to learn more about their role and how the opportunities for graduates.

This session will be held at the Polaris rooms at the Mecure hotel on Stevens. For all students, you will have company visits in the morning, stop for lunch and then the buses will take you to the Mecure.  At the end of the careers event, buses will wait outside the Mecure to take you to the evening cultural activity (sign up will be required).

The Power of Global Networks Careers Event is an opportunity to get insight into the differences of working across industries, regions and cultures while networking with industry professionals, alumni and current students as part of the Global Experience module in Singapore. Suitable to students looking to work in the APAC region and those just looking to learn more about key opportunity areas in the region, the panel discussion and world café networking style provides information on what companies are looking for from master level graduates, inspiration to develop an international career and tips on how to do business in the region.

This event brings together students attending 3 different Global Experiences Modules in Singapore (Corporate Finance for Practitioners, Future of Cities and Global Health Immersion) from a number of master programmes: MSc Finance, MSc Finance & Accounting, MSc Investment & Wealth Management, MSc Risk Management & Financial Engineering, MSc Management, MSc International Management, MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Management and MSc International Health Management.
