About Us

Imperial Elevate is committed to empowering founders from the Imperial College community—students, staff, and alumni—by pairing them with business school students. Our objective is to build relationships with and prepare these founders for the challenges of securing diverse forms of investment, thereby enhancing their prospects for success on platforms like the Imperial Investment Portal and beyond. Through this collaboration, we aim to bridge knowledge gaps in economics, business, and entrepreneurial finance, crucial for achieving investor readiness. We aim to build a platform where scientific innovation meets business acumen.

Imperial Elevate Goals
1. Achieving Investor Readiness: Our foremost goal is to guide ventures towards the investor readiness. This process involves imparting a deep understanding of economics, business principles, and entrepreneurial finance, particularly for founders with a scientific background.
2. Facilitating the Portal Application and Review Process through Collaboration: We assist founders in navigating the Imperial Investor Portal Application review process, providing comprehensive support and mentorship. This facilitation is achieved through close collaboration between founders and business school students, ensuring ventures meet the rigorous criteria set by Investment Services.
3. Collaborative Development and Mentorship: Emphasising a hands-on approach, Imperial Elevate involves students directly working with founders. This mentorship is integral to enhancing venture capital and entrepreneurial skills among students, while simultaneously refining the ventures for investment readiness.
4. Inclusive Educational Opportunity: We continue to offer this enriching experience to all business school students, creating a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
