Hope you have had a great start of the module, and enjoyed some Brazilian hospitality. We are told to expect quite a few snacks from each of the companies we visit. 

Thank you for your energy and thoughtful questions with the speakers on our first day, it's great to see the engagement and particiapation, let's keep this energy for the rest od the week!
 

Student Hosts

Thank you to our student hosts Ten and Orestis for our sessions at FGV and to Sally and Komal for the speakers in the afternoon.  We still have some hosting slots available for :

  • Duloren on Thursday - a lingerie company
  • Grando (one of the electives on Friday) -  Brazil's Unilever
  • Circo Organico (one of the electives on Friday) - a recycling services company

Dress Code Reminder

Business casual is the dress code for the rest of the week. This means - No shorts, no flip flops, no crop tops, no gymwear. Trainers are ok if dressed appropraitely otherwise.
 

Notes about tomorrow's itinerary

We will start the day at the same meeting room on the 3rd floor as this afternoon's sessions. There is a staircase if you're coming directly from breakfast which may be quicker than taking the lifts tomorrow. 

There is also a bit more time scheduled for a sit-down lunch. 
 

Itinerary Heads Up

  • On Wednesday - we will be split into groups as 8 start-ups will be pitching their products/services to you. All the start-ups are keen for some support after the module, and so reach out to the Austral team if you're interested.
  • On Thursday - this is another reminder that the Maracana visit clashes with the Catamaran tour. If you want to transfer your ticket to another student, or want a refund, please speak to Somaya.
  • On Friday morning - you get to choose which company you want to visit from a choice of three. Read up about the companies and make your selection using this link: https://e.cglink.me/2ph/r300089863. Deadline = Wednesday evening
