Nuuksio Forest Hike (Total tour duration 4.5 hours)
Hike through the forest of Nuuksio National Park, a wilderness treasure outside Helsinki. Just 45 minutes outside of Helsinki, you’ll escape to a land of rugged hills, lush forests, and deep lakes carved by glaciers during the Ice Age. Join your nature guide for a hike through Nuuksio National Park’s mosaic of habitats.
Learn about the threatened and near-threatened animals and plants that call the park home, as you enjoy a hike along forest trails. Nuuksio National Park is known for its incredible trails, cross-country skiing, cycling, horseback riding, swimming, fishing, rock climbing, and foraging opportunities. Hike along a beautiful trail, hugging a crisp deep blue lake. Sit down for a relaxing open-fire snack with sausages and juice. Breathe in the fresh air and pause for a moment surrounded by nature’s serenity.
