- The EU data centre market is seeing a surge in investment, largely driven by AI and growing demand for digital infrastructure
- Global data centre market projected to grow at 15% CAGR through 2027
- Established hubs such as London, Frankfurt, and Dublin are facing constraints around land and power, so developers and hyperscalers are increasingly targeting secondary and previously under-supplied locations. The Nordics are particularly attractive due to low-cost hydroelectric power and cold ambient temperatures, which reduce cooling cost
