Daily Update 2: Company Visits

We hope you are enjoying your time on the Global Immersion in Singapore so far!

Tomorrow we have a busy day of visits - timings and plans for Tuesday are below. Thank you for your timeliness and engagement today despite the jet lag!

Cultural Activities

We are reopening registration for Chinatown and Evening Gardens by the Bay to allow more of you to sign up. If you haven't already signed up, you have until Tuesday at noon.

 

Tuesday 25 March Important Times and Locations

  • Breakfast will be served in the J65 Restaurant from 06:30 (level one opposite reception). Please aim to be finished with breakfast by 08:45 to depart for the first session. 
  • 08:45 Depart for the first visit via coach: Please be in the lobby for 08:45, we will depart together via coach. Please arrive promptly.
    • The location of the first session is Seminar Room (Level 1), Innovation 4.03 Research Link, Singapore, 117602.
  • 09:45 Singapore AI: Lawrence Liew, Director of AI Innovation Singapore will lead this session. 
  • 11:00 Depart via coach to next company visit: We will travel directly from AI Singapore to the Imperial Global Hub.
  • 11:30 Session from Module Leader Colin Love: Colin will deliver a 30-minute session to introduce the academic elements of the module.
  • 12:00 Imperial Global Hub: Professor Anil Bharath, Professor of Biologically Inspired Computational and Inference AI in Digital Health will lead this session. 
    • The location of this session is Level 2, 1 Create Way #12-02 Create Tower, Singapore, 138602.
  • 13:00 Free time for lunch: There will be some free time for lunch at the NUS Campus.
  • 14:00 Coaches depart to Schneider Electric: We will let you know the meeting point to depart to the afternoon sessions.  
  • 14:30 Schneider Electric: The session will be led by Brian Lam, Industrial Digital Transformation - Prinicipal Consultant.  
    • The location of the Schneider Electrics visit is 50 Kallang Ave, Singapore, 339505.
  • 16:30 Coaches depart back to the hotel: you will have the rest of the evening at your leisure.
