Wednesday 2 July Newsletter
With two full days behind us and plenty more ahead, Day 3 marked a turning point in our GEW as we began to find our rhythm. Today brought new opportunities to learn, explore, and reflect. Thank you to our student hosts from Tuesday, Riley, Corina and Megan!
Wednesday is a more relaxed day to reenergise and re-focus. Most of the heavy lifting will be done by the moderators of the panel, but let's stay on top form and come prepared with questions for the panels. Moderator and panelist information is on the IBConnect event.
Breakfast will be available from Harvest restaurant on the 2nd floor from 6AM
Please be ready in the hotel lobby to depart at 0845AM to Shamba Events.
Dress Code: This is a more informal day, casual clothes can be worn, but please refrain from wearing activewear/sportswear.
There will be two panels in the morning, a panel discussing International Development Aid followed by an Investment Panel.
Lunch will be at Shamba Events, and following this;
1x minibus will go to Kitengela for the Glass Blowing Workshop
2x BasiGo buses will return to the hotel.
For those doing the cycling in Karura Forest, there will be time to change before meeting in the lobby at 1430 to depart to the forest.
Plastic water bottles are not permitted in Karura Forest, if you do not have a reusable water bottle, please bring one of the glass bottles from the Trademark.
You have a free evening.
