Module pricing has been confirmed as £495 + 2.5% non-refundable transaction fee

The price is between 25%-30% of the average cost to deliver the module. While accommodation for the week does make up the biggest piece of the pie, it is not the only cost. Please review the module's full terms and conditions.

    Volunteer Opportunities

    Student Company Visit Host

    As a student host, you will be the Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the company visit. Some of your duties will involve arriving promptly at the venue to greet any local speakers and thank them for hosting us. You will introduce the speaker, kick off the Q&A session with some of your own pre-prepared questions and facilitate the Q&A with the wider group.     Student Blogging & Social Media

    Whether you are already a student ambassador or a gifted photographer, get in touch to act as the official GEW champion on social media. Content will be featured in LinkedIn, Instagram stories (as part of the student takeover), Instagram grid, and on the School website.

    Module Outline

    The aim of the Global Immersion is to give students a chance to experience first-hand the social and cultural dynamics of business in another country. The trip will consist of a number of visits to different companies across a range of industry sectors, as well as social and cultural activities. Moreover, students will receive the opportunity to network with local Imperial alumni and professionals.

    Learning Outcomes

    By the end of the module, you will be able to:

    • Appraise the workings of organisations, and their role in pursuing sustainable business in the context in which they operate and how they are managed
    • Select and apply analytical and problem solving techniques to the decision making process in real-life business contexts and present their analysis in a professional and persuasive manner
    • Create viable solutions using interdisciplinary knowledge and cross-subject skills
    • Appreciate the social and cultural dynamics of business in another country.
    • Demonstrate they have obtained a set of personal development and lifelong learning skills applicable to the international business environment
