SIF Recruitment 2026–27

This year, SIF is moving away from the traditional interview-based recruitment format. Instead, we are introducing a practical, project-based process that gives students the chance to demonstrate genuine interest and contribute meaningful work early on, even before becoming full members of the fund.

How it works

Throughout the Autumn term, we will be hosting a series of events. Our executive committee will take note of students who attend consistently and engage actively, and those students will be invited to the first stage of recruitment: the Project Group Formation Stage.

At this stage, shortlisted students will work alongside one another on tasks set by our Heads of Division. Each group will produce an output that feeds directly into the fund's investment ideas and strategies. These outputs will then be assessed, and candidates who demonstrate strong teamwork, drive and excellence in their area will be offered a place in SIF.

Timeline

Throughout Autumn term: SIF events open to all students

Mid Autumn term: Shortlisted students notified and assigned to projects

End of Autumn term: Successful candidates officially onboarded into SIF

Spring term: Official fund work begins, with the possibility of further recruitment

26 October 2026: QRT x London Stock Exchange Group Lecture Series and Competition Lecture 1

Late October: QRT Trading and Asset Management Competition Launch

November: Eastspring Stock Pitch Competition Launch
