About Us

What The Tech is a tech support workshop for local London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and Royal borough of Kensington and Chelsea residents aged 50+. We want our community to be digitally inclusive so our sessions aim to uplift digital confidence so everyone feels connected. 

Founded by the Community Engagement Team and the Business School, WTT was established to support older residents with their digital literacy and to tackle social isolation and feelings of loneliness. 

WTT volunteers, are the friendly face that will greet and help residents who join the sessions. Coming in with a range of basic tech queries, we’ll teach these residents how to use their devices and help to improve their digital literacy so that they can stay connected.
